The First Step
Your initial consultation with Compass and Clippers is FREE of charge and allows you to discuss your requirements and needs with our designer.  We recommend that before the consultation you write down the ideas and preferences that you may have for your garden.  These may include colour scheme, if you would like a patio, terrace, decking, arches, water feature, lighting in your garden and of course a garden shed! Two other important factors will be the budget you have available and how much time you have for the maintenance of your garden.

When you decide to proceed, your designer will need to do an accurate survey of the site and assess the unique characteristics of your garden. At this stage we will also need to look at the setting, orientation, soil type and views in and out of the garden, so that these can be taken into consideration when planning.

The Next Step
Having gathered all the necessary information, our designer will prepare an outline proposal for you. This is your opportunity to make any additions or changes, before the final stage of the design process.

The Final Step
Once a design has been agreed, a final plan will be produced and building work can begin, either by us or a contractor of your choosing.
